Emergence of the Art Alliance of Jupiter
Founded in early 2008, the Art Alliance of Jupiter was established to create an outlet where local artists of all mediums could come together to help support each other and find new ways of promoting themselves and their artwork. For aspiring and experienced artists alike, the Art Alliance of Jupiter is dedicated to encouraging these local artists in their artistic endeavors and to increasing public awareness of the many talented artists of Jupiter.
It is our goal to furnish a support group and to provide opportunities for artists in promoting their artwork and to help further their art careers as well as enhancing the cultural side of Jupiter by exposing the community to the many varied mediums of art created locally.
Artists are a cultural asset to any community. A strong visual arts community can mutually benefit the artist, the residents, local businesses, and tourism alike. By showcasing our local area artists not only can we stimulate our local economy, but add to our cultural pride and teach our youth the importance of being creative and unique.
Still in it's formative stages, the Art Alliance of Jupiter has room to grow. At present, membership is free and meetings are held once a month. Our long range plans include producing events for artists to sell their artwork, sponsorship of youth-related art programs, creating solid artist and community relationships, and ultimately provide a showcase gallery for local artists of all mediums. Hopefully, with the participation of the artists and the community, our long range plans will be realized and bring to our town of Jupiter the reputation of having a strong cultural and visual arts community.

Together Debra, MJ, Jonathon and Tony are happy to present the first ever Art, Craft and Green Market in Jupiter Farms. The nursery will add a nature garden atmosphere to the art and craft show, not the typical parking lot, but lots of green trees and flowers. And while your there enjoying the art you can pick out some fruit and vegetables to take home. This is planned to be a monthly community event with many interesting exhibitors (over 40) to date including Kids Creations by Kathleen Hmiel. Children can make jewelry with glass beads, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver to take home with them in a beautiful organza bag. Bryan Sullivan of Expose Us Media will be offering a custom artist website for $99.00. Also Beauty Havens Farm and Equine Rescue will be selling donated goods to benefit rescued horses. In addition there will be a varied mixture of fine art, fine crafts, and large selection of plants and produce. They invite you to come and join them for a pleasant day in the nursery enjoying the art and craft show and finding some unique gift items too. In December, MJ and Debra are already planning the “Focus on Christmas Market” on December 20 and 21, 2008. Featuring affordable handmade gifts and both days will be open from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Come out and show your support for your local artists, craftspeople and growers community. They love Jupiter Farms and they hope you will too.
Will be looking forward to December’s “Focus on Christmas” and hope you all will be able to attend.
